The table below summarises the main benefits available under your Excess Reimbursement Cover. All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions and limits.
Damage to the rental vehicle | Reimbursement of the excess you are responsible for following damage to the rental vehicle, such as bumps or scratches. | Up to the excess charged, subject to a maximum of £7,500 per Period of Insurance. |
Loss of use | Costs you are responsible for if the rental vehicle cannot be used following damage. | Included within the £7,500 maximum limit. |
Towing following damage | Towing or recovery costs following damage to the rental vehicle. | Included within the £7,500 maximum limit. |
Towing following mechanical or electrical breakdown | Towing or recovery costs following a mechanical or electrical breakdown, where you are responsible under the Rental Agreement. | Included within the £7,500 maximum limit. |
Damage not covered by the rental company's CDW | Damage to certain parts of the rental vehicle that may not be covered by the rental company's CDW, including windows, tyres, wheels, headlights, undercarriage and roof. | Included within the £7,500 maximum limit. |
Important: The total amount that can be paid for all claims during any one Period of Insurance is £7,500. You can make multiple claims, but the combined payments cannot exceed this limit.
Cover only applies where you are responsible for the damage and liable for the excess under the Rental Agreement.
